This retro 1950's recipe tastes like a melted Strawberry Milkshake. A special AE ingredient adds creaminess and flavor. Because it keeps for several days in the fridge, you can extend the enjoyment! Adapted from Prune Restaurant

Blend until smooth
Mix the strawberries and sugar in a blender carafe and let stand for at least 1 hour, until very syrupy—the juicier the berries get, the better. Add the milk and buttermilk to the berries, then blend until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a pitcher and let the milk steep overnight in the fridge; mix it again before serving. (You can also use ripe peaches instead of strawberries.)
